My Emoji Stories

Hello again everyone~ It's super nice to know that you're still alive. I hope you always have a nice life to live in! (ʃƪ^3^)

In this blog I want to tell you stories that I have read and listen from ER Central. And I am going to give my honest reaction with emojis. Let's get going, then! ヾ(*’O’*)/

⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂ ⠂⠄⠄⠂☆

The first one is, from the reading library, I choose "Why Many Love Cats". The genre is factual, it's on level 9.70 with 517 word counts. It tells about the reason why a lot of people like cats over dogs as their pet. You see, a lot of people want a pet to be a companion for them, so they can get over their stress or make everything less lonely for them. For some people, taking care of dogs is not really enjoyable sometimes, they need to get to bath, while cats can clean their body all by their selves. Cats are well-mannered than dogs, they don't scratching or biting things like dogs do. Dogs need to be taken for a walk and move their bodies so they're not getting any health issues. While cats can independently walk their own selves. They aren't as noisy as dogs do too. So getting cats as a pet is considered as a medicine to people with mental illness and needed some peace.

My emoji is going to be... Pleading face! Why I choose this emoji? Because I think cats are super cute even though I'm more like a dog person. I also find it rational, when people are stressing over work and they just want to go home to find some peace. They needed the calming cats, not some hyperactive loud dogs. But again, it's our preference, okay? Don't come at me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And for the listening activity, it goes with "Learning Japanese". It's on level 9.30 with 255 words. So basically Eli told us that she's find it so hard to learning Japanese. She think Japanese is a very hard language to learn. She has never learning another language before so she find it quite hard because her school moves very quickly in conversation. They didn't taught her Kanji even though that's so important if you live in Japanese. She want to practice Japanese more with his friends but she couldn't because her friends are wanted to learn English with her. So it makes her very lazy and ended up not talking much Japanese to improve her skills.

My emoji for "Learning Japanese" is "Astonishing Face". Why? Because I do really think learning Japanese is hard. Technically learning other language is super hard, but as a former Japanese learner, I was find it really hard, especially learning Kanji. I stop to actually learning Japanese because it's just too hard. But I do still learn it unconsciously until now, because I'm watching anime and listening to Japanese music often.

English and Me

Hello everyone! ♡

Welcome to my very first writing in my very first blog also~ And in this very first post, I will tell you a story about when I discovered English as a different language. I'm sorry if it's not enjoyable, this is my first time after all (´ε` )

It's started back when I'm 5, CDs are at it's peak, they are so popular, everybody listened to CDs and you can find them wherever; bookstores, grocery stores, traditional market, even the side of the road. Basically wherever.

So my dad is a huge fan of Metallica after he bought a CD of their hottest songs. He loves it so much he plays it everyday. I'm so sick of it until I I realize there's not a single words I understand. "Yah, jane iku do ngomong opo toh?" (translate : "Dad, what are they saying?") I asked. And he replied that they're saying in English. That's the time when I discovered English as a real thing.

The one who taught me English is my mom. She's an elementary school teacher, she make sure to properly taught me English because she thought learning it at an early age would be good for me and my future.
Like an innocent kid I was, I feel like learning other language than Bahasa Indonesia and Jawa will make me cooler than all of my friends ( ´◡‿ゝ◡`)

But of course there's some times I hate English and think that it's so frustrating. Especially when I can't understand the topic and contexts (re : grammar and tenses). And also there's time when I feel like English is to boring for me just because I have good grades, but of course it's just my cocky side. I realize I need to improve my English. In fact, my level is waaaay too low compared to my friends in this major. That's why I need to improve my English so I don't get left behind by the others.

Of course I'm not stay still and waiting for the miracles. I improve my English skills by practice to write and speak regularly, expand my vocabulary, and learning it with the fun way such as; watching movies, listening to the music, and reading manga in English. Especially in this sophisticated era, we must make the best use of it. There's so much apps and website we can use to improve English skills practically in the most convenient and easy way.

That's all, thank you so much for reading until the end, I really appreciate it ( ;∀;)
I hope you have a nice life (?) and God bless us all ( ◜‿◝ )♡
